"Not Responding"
I am using Win10, Thunderbird 115.2.0. When deleting new emails, thunderbird is very slow, get message "Not Responding" does not occur every time but more often than not Thanks

What is your anti-virus software?
Norton 360, already tried disabling, no joy
Try to start Windows 10 in safe mode with networking enabled.
Does the problem go away?
Windows safe mode disables anti-virus software. This is a troubleshooting step, not a solution.

after clearing all data, deleted messages, trash, etc the problem is solved.......... Many Thanks for all who gave me suggestions!!!
How many messages were in trash? Which action do you think resolved it?
