Suddenly can't completely clear cache.
I used to go to Firefox and clear my cache before I logged off or when my computer bogged down because I use 2 browsers for different websites and now it won't completely clear. It went to 1.4 MB but never back to 0. I uninstalled Firefox then reinstalled it and now it's at 2.4 MB. I delete my cache, not cookies, every time without fail, so this is very frustration. Can anyone help me?

Are you possibly using external cleanup software that could cause Firefox cache management to get corrupted or have had crashes ?
You can check the about:cache page via the location/address bar to see if that shows what items are still in the cache.
Otherwise you can try to remove the cache2 folder in the secondary (local) location for the profile folder.
Firefox uses two locations for the Firefox profile folder. On Windows the primary location is in "AppData\Roaming" and the secondary location is in "AppData\Local". The about:profiles page has a button to go to either location. Location used for the disk cache and other temporary files (Local Directory on about:profiles).
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
Location of the cache/cache2 folder; Windows: *C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\ Mac: ~/Library/Caches/Firefox/Profiles/ Linux: ~/.cache/mozilla/firefox/
Close Firefox. Open your file browser to the above, and remove the folder.
