Anybody else moving away from Thunderbird after latest updates changed formatting?

Latest up dates have changed how email composition is set up. Can't do simple things like adding bullets and such without everything being doubled spaced. Can't truncate a line without creating a double spacing/paragraph. Don't want to relearn the program. Easier to migrate to Outlook.
