Hi Christ, I have checked the account setting and i have reconfigured the mail account but the issue not yet resolved, I able to send the mails but not able to get the mails.

Post the following information: In Thunderbird

  • click the menu button ,
  • select 'Help' > 'Troubleshooting Information'.
  • click on 'Copy text to clipboard' button
  • In this forum question, Right click in a 'Post a Reply' text box and paste the information into your reply.

Do you get any error message or pop up messages when you click on 'Get Messages' or when you restart Thunderbird ? If yes, what is the error message ...word for word?

Confirm you have these settings:

  • Right click on mail account in Folder pane and select 'Settings'
  • select ' Server Settings' for mail account
  • select 'Check for new messages at startup'
  • select 'Check for new messages every eg: 10 minutes'

If this is a pop mail account:

  • select: 'Automatically download new messages'
  • click on OK
