firefox will not install error code 0xc0000142

When I try to run Firefox Setup Stub 34.0.5.exe, I get a message that says "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application.

Hi skippy116 , try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) and then see if that helps to download and install firefox from the next link (full installer) :

Hi skippy116 , try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) and then see if that helps to download and install firefox from the next link (full installer) :
