Ipad and Iphone google calendar entries do not sync to computer on Mozilla Firefox

If I make a google calendar entry on my computer (Firefox) the entry will post to my google calendar on BOTH my Ipad and Iphone. However, if I make a google calendar entry on either my Ipad or Iphone, those entries DO NOT appear on my computer. My wife uses internet explorer and does not experience this problem.

HELP!

By the way, my wife and I are using the same desktop computer!
