You can also try to reload the web page(s) and bypass the cache.

• Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
• Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
• Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)

Check and tell if its working.

silkphoenix: Do you have Microsoft Silverlight plugin-in installed? If you do, disable it and see if it works for your Hotmail, it did for mine:

Tools > Add-ons and look for "Silverlight" plug-in.

mercedesbenz: I had the same problem with Hotmail after upgrading to FireFox 4 recently. The 'attachment' button wasn't clickable even though the icon appeared on my screen.

It resolved when I disabled Silverlight under the Firefox Add-On > Plugins then I went to www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/ and downloaded the Silverlight plugin and ran it with Firefox closed. And upon reopening of Firefox, my Hotmail 'attachments' was working again.

Check and tell if its working.
