Not getting Synch Password Reset email
Hello, I had to rebuild by computer after a power supply failure. Now I have all my bookmarks on my iTouch but I can not get synch working on my Desktop. I have tried the password reset, but I do not get an email.
The funny thing is I have had the same email since before Synch existed (I used Xmarks).

If you are talking about Xmarks, it does not backup passwords anymore, while Firefox Sync does. So please clarify if you are talking about Xmarks or Firefox Sync.
If you do not want to use Firefox Sync, you can use LastPass which acquired Xmarks:
No. I merely was stating I used Xmarks before I switch to FireFox Synch and I have had the same email the whole time.
As stated I have the app on my iTouch with all my bookmarks, and now I can not get them back onto my PC because the password reset does not send me an email. I am having to use this because for some reason no password I can think of works, and even the one I used to get my iTouch linked to my account.

I am not sure if you can sync from Mobile to Desktop or not.
By the way, couldn't you find your password information in: Tools > Options > Security and then click "Show Password".
Your Sync password and key should be listed under: chrome://weave
If you still have problems, please read this article to see if it helps:
As stated I hard to rebuild my computer. That means all new hard drives...do finally get that I do not have ANY history on my PC? I have a clean copy of windows, with a clean copy of FireFox with no bookmarks, no browsing history or system files.
There is nothing under any of the setup other than "Setup your Synch account." I try to connect to my Synch account and it tells me I have the wrong password, and I have tried every one I have ever used. So I click on the reset password, go to the site enter the exact same user name on my iTouch and nothing happens. I don't get an email, so here I sit on a newish PC with no way to access my saved bookmarks.
And yes, a when my power supply failed the surge took out my external hard drive, leaving me without a backup.
Edit: I have also looked at every screen on the Firefox Home app, and other than the account name there is no option to view saved passwords. I just have:
Singed in as: darkwatersong Tabs: 7 Bookmarks: 288 History: 2000

Hello? I am still stuck, and really do not want to have to add all 288 of my bookmarks and 120+ saved passwords back into FireFox on my desktop. Honestly if I do, then I am going to start looking at chrome because the actually fix things like broken password reset features.
Hello? I am getting really tired of having to use the iTouch to look up stuff...
Since I don't use iTouch, I couldn't help you any further. Have you gone to their forum and ask your question, maybe some of the iTouch users can help you further:

Since I am trying to get my password reset email from FireFox, no.
What I am saying is that did you try to go to Apple forum and ask them if anyone knows a way to export Firefox bookmarks in html format on iTouch.
Also since you said you used Xmarks prior to using Sync, can you log into Xmarks?
Xmrks is gone, and is missing all activity for the last year. Also all over Apple's site it tells you to contact the maker of an App, as they can not support them. Since the FireFox team is the maker of the app, I am posting in the only place I found to get support.
That is because I work during the chat hours, and there is no email or other way I can find to get in touch with someone that could figure out why I am not getting my password reset email.
As stated I have the same email, and nothing is getting stuck in SPAM or anything else.
I am thinking of all the possibility to help you, so I might ask you some stupid questions at times.
Did you have other email addresses? Could it be possible you use a different email address for Firefox Sync? If you do have other email addresses, you might try them all, just a thought.
Have you read this article:
Same email address for over 5 years, and it worked 4 months ago when I setup my iTouch. I have done exactly what that article talks about and nothing. I have tried it over a dozen times, and nothing.
Also all of the junk emails I have used in the last 5 years have been checked. Sadly as an IT myself I tried all of the simple and normal stuff before posting. At this point the only thing I need is how why I am not getting the email for "darkwatersong"
