When using a GemPlus smartcard reader on a web site and then immediately closing Fiferox, the next attempt to open firefox will failed with a 'firefox is already running message'. After looking into troubleshooting tips on the web site, I think that it's a JAVA related problem. I did an update of everything, try to reactivate an old version of Java, ... none of this solve the problem. The only way to avoid it is to use the workaround in Java Troubleshooting tips : open a non java web page before closing Firefox.

Can you restart Firefox if you wait a bit longer (1 or 2 minutes)?
