I added a new blog to my "Blogs & News Feeds", the first i've added since the update to 24.6.0. The 6 posts on the blog downloaded completely, but when i looked at the contents of the folder, the "From" column was filled with the name of another blogger in my feed. Both blogs are from Blogger if that makes a difference. Obviously this is not a major problem, but it is an annoyance.

My guess is the blog uses a common mail address. So remove the entry in your address book for the person that is showing up.

EUREKA! It worked -- but not until after i rebooted. It even changed all of the old blog posts. I checked, and the original blog still shows the proper name, so now everything is as it should be.

Thank you, Matt!
