I asked for Firefox to open automatically when I sign in. Each time it gives me a warning that "this program has been downloaded from the internet, do you want to use it?" and I can't find how to turn in off.

You can remove that in the Properties of the shortcut or file in Windows Explorer via the right-click context menu.
