I have an email that my FASFA was completed and the report was ready however when I go to the FASFA site now it says that it is incompatible with my version of Firefox and that I need 3.5x or 3.6x version. I tried to download and it says it still incompatible. HELP!

The fafsa.gov site does not currently support Firefox newer than version 3.6.x. That is their choice.
- fafsa browser requirements: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/fotw1112/help/beforebrowser_req.htm
You can install Firefox Portable version to use only on that site and use your installed current Firefox version for everything else. Firefox Portable is not produced by Mozilla (but is based on Firefox released versions) and is not supported on this site -- has its own support forum (see below). Firefox Portable installs in a separate folder on your hard drive so that it does not interfere with your currently installed Firefox version settings or personal information (bookmarks, passwords, etc.). You can also install Firefox Portable on a USB/thumb/pin/jump drive.

I want to go back. My virus protection is also incompatible. I use Avast so are some of my other extensions. I do not like it. I want to put it back the way it was. It is also running slower. I do not like it. How do I put it back?
"My virus protection is also incompatible. I use Avast..."
What version of Avast? Free Antivirus? Internet Security?
- Your Anti-virus should be working. Any toolbar added by Avast may not work until Avast updates that product.
- If it is the WebRep portion that is not working, Avast needs to update that.
- Check the Avast support and forum: https://support.avast.com/
- Also see: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Add-ons%20are%20disabled%20after%20updating%20Firefox
- Firefox has an Anti-phishing/Anti-malware component built-in:

Please reply with a list of the non-compatible/non-working extensions (name and version number). Add-ons > Extensions.
