Disable the addon Easy Youtube Video Downloader.

I seem to be getting the same error "Error: BVDCORE.videoFormats is undefined" when trying to watch any youtube video.

It only seems to have started within the past 30 -40 minutes.

If anyone can help to solve this problem i think many people would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to use Easy Youtube video dowloader but it doesn´t work. Even New Tab King add-on doesn´t work. Can somebody help me? Thanks.

Usually the addon Easy Youtube Video Downloader sits just underneath the videos. When I started to get these error messages about 40 minutes ago, I noticed that the downloader had disappeared. I disabled it anyway, as euleonardo suggested, and the error messages went away. Thanks.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the dowloader, but still getting that pop up that says "Error: BVDCORE.videoFormats is undefined". I agree with ice792 about it being one of the best addons, so it would be nice to get it fixed. Also, I find it amazing that in just under an hour 224 people have the same problem suddenly.

I have that EXACT same error message. It just started happening 30 minutes ago. I had both Easy Youtube Video Downloader and NewTabKing. Both stopped working. Uninstalled both.

Problem fixed.

But how will you now download videos from Youtube. That downloader was one of the best add-ons and now it doesn´t work. Any suggestions?

Um... how can I see people's answers to the posts above? I think we all have the same questions... and my Easyyoutubedownloader button is gone too, how do I disable it?

Click Tools, then Addons. Look in your list of addons for the downloader then Click Disable. You'll need to restart Firefox for it to take effect.

I also use YouTubeDownloader, it's a separate program & you paste in the URL... easyyoutubedownload is just so easy though....

Try this one for now: Video DownloadHelper 4.9.3 Really easy to use, you´ll get used to it quickly.

I disabled the downloader, but I'm still getting this fking message.

A couple of other new threads were created with the same exact problem. A lot of people are having this happen suddenly.

I can still watch the videos, but only after I close that pop up. The pop up only happens with Easy Youtube Video Downloader, but not when using Video DownloadHelper. At least in my case, anyway.

I'm guessing something was recently updated on YouTube that doesn't play nice with E.Y.V.D. It doesn't seem to really be breaking anything, videos still play no problem. Just gotta wait for E.Y.V.D. to update for whatever is causing the error.

Use the shortcut Control + Shift + A click extensions on the left and update any video downloader (easy video downloader or similar), restart firefox and you should be good!
