You may have accidentally clicked the 'Block Images' item in the right click context menu while trying to save an image. Check the image exceptions: Tools > Options > Content: Load Images: Exceptions - See: Options window - Content panel

A way to see which images are blocked is to click the Site Identification icon (favicon/image on the left end of the location bar) and click the "More Information" button. -The Security tab of the Page Info window (also accessible via Tools > Page Info). -Go to the Media tab of that Page Info window. -Select the first image and scroll down though the list with the Down arrow. -If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove the check mark to unblock the images from that domain.

TXGuy i tried all above what you said, i even followed instructions from the link http://kb.mozillazine.org/Images_or_animations_do_not_load but it's still not working...! i even deleted and reinstalled firefox (without erasing all personal data) and yet the same behavior....!

only new symptom i can tell is the loading bar down on the right seems to be trying to fully load all the time while in blogspots.... while down on the left the status is always writing "transferring data from 3.bp.blogspot.com..." or ".......1.bp.blogspot.com" etc. The type of image files that it won't load is "*.jpg" there is a screenshot just in case it can help! thanks a lot in advance.

Do you see any images grayed if you check that in Tools > Page Info > Media ?

i went to : Tools > Page Info > Media and all the *.jpg files are grayed as you said.. Reseted all user preferences to Firefox defaults", as followed the procedure from the link yet the problem is there still...!

what is the last step ? deleting firefox and all of it's remains from my pc? even if that means losing all the browsing history i will be forced to do it because it's very irritating...!

Same problem, Firefox 3.6.6 and now in 3.6.7
