usually you correct your time zone in Windows, instead of just updating the clock to show what you consider correct.
My computer clock is set to the correct time zone. Other web email (such as gmail) shows the correct time. Only the email that I send using Thunderbird shows an hour later than the actual time. Is there another setting I should be looking for?
Are you using Windows 10, 8 or 7, MAC or Linux OS?
Please post image showing the computer 'Date & Time' and 'Timezone' settings window.
re :Only the email that I send using Thunderbird shows an hour later than the actual time. Are you only refering to the emails in 'Sent' folder? What about emails in the 'Inbox' from other recipients?
If you send yourself an email so it appears in the 'Inbox', does it show the correct time? Is the time one hour different to the same sent email in the 'Sent' folder?
For email you sent to yourself in 'Sent' folder. select the email so it shows in Message Pane. click on 'More' select 'View Source' Look for the 'Date' line and copy paste the info into this forum question. eg: Date: Thu, 25 Apr 2019 09:52:26 +0000 (UTC) Then tell us what you see for the same email in the Threadpane list 'Date' column header.
Example of the info required. You could post images to prove what you see. I have an email which shows this date info in the 'view source'
- Date: Fri, 15 Mar 2019 13:24:44 -0400
My computer timezone is used to reset this, so the same email in the folders 'Thread Pane' list in the 'Date' column header it says:
- 15/03/2019 17:24
