Hi

A 64 bit version of Firefox is currently being worked on and is (at the present time) available for people to use, but this is an unfinished Beta version of the browser that may have one or two bugs that are being tidied up.

If you are comfortable using a pre-Release version of Firefox, you can download it from here.

I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.

Note that 64 bit Firefox versions for a 64 bit Windows platform will only support the Shockwave Flash plugin. If you need support for other plugins (e.g. Java or media players) then you need to stay with 32 bit Firefox versions.

This thread of course is about the Win64 builds of Firefox and not 64-bit builds in general. There has been 64-bit Mac OSX and Linux builds of Firefox since Firefox 4.0 Release both because it was much easier and especially needed to run.

Firefox 42.0 is still the current target date for Win64 Release however it can still change. Firefox 41.0 was last target however it was pushed to 42.0 due to sandbox issues.

Also when there is Win64 Firefox for Release it will be low key initially as it will not be listed on www.mozilla.org or on www.mozilla.org/firefox/all but on say archive.mozilla.org
