Hi there.I'm using Mozilla firefox 3.6.11 and i recently updated adobe flash player 10.1 with windows 7.Since then,i have problems playing the videos on youtube,and also other websites.It has been 10 days,i uninstalled and reinstalled flash player(like 50 times),tried to use older flash player versions,downloaded flash player edition for 64bit systems,controlled the java settings,controlled the flash player settings,basically tried everything written about this problem on both adobe and mozilla FAQ's,downloaded opera and google chrome to see if it works on those operators,nothing worked.And I also wrote an e-mail to Adobe support,since i got no answer,obviously they don't care much to bother themselves to give any kind of advice.What can i do to solve my problem?

I have a same problem, and i went crazy about it. Tried everything even reinstalled windows 7. I love Firefox browser but it makes me crazy when i go to the youtube, or on the pages who have a flash contents.

I see you have Octoshape plugin installed. Did you try to disable this plugin?

the problem is every time there is a flash video or ad on a page, my computer slows to a crawl and the video lags. Even if i'm just on yahoo's home page and the news features are scrolling through, it lags my mouse and everything else.

This does not happen with IE. It has to be the way Firefox 7 and Flash are interacting.

Going back to IE. Sad to say...
