Home screen might be considered a specialized bookmark I suppose but the categories don't directly apply above. Browsers for decades have allowed a custom Url to be entered or "use current page" as home screen. I can find no option under firefox settings for Android enter it. What's the trick?

I picked last tab but that isn't the same as a fixed URL such as my bank website or Facebook page I would always want to see first.

Hi

It is currently not possible to set a custom home page in Firefox for Android.

To readers: Topic is specific to Android Firefox 118

@Paul I read where custom home page became a security issue for scam scripts that set it. Yet all those customizable homepage items seem equally vulnerable. Is there a workaround in android to prestarting a certain page? In linux it is as simple as running $ firefox [URL]

I recommend that you update to the latest version of Firefox for Android so that you have the latest security updates.
