This Connection is Untrusted
I deleted Firefox - then downloaded again... still Google/Hotmail/etc I get this screen
This Connection is Untrusted
You have asked Firefox to connect securely to www.google.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure. [etc]
www.google.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided. (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)
The computer clock is correct
Any ideas, anyone? Thanks

This Connection is Untrusted is sometimes caused because the computer system clock is wrong. Check the time / date / time zone settings.
You can retrieve the certificate and check details like who issued certificates and expiration dates of certificates.
- Click the link at the bottom of the error page: "I Understand the Risks"
- Let Firefox retrieve the certificate: "Add Exception" -> "Get Certificate"
- Click the "View" button and inspect the certificate and check who is the issuer.
You can see more details like the intermediate certificates that are used in the Details tab.
Hi
as I said, already checked the time.
I also have looked at the certificates - can't copy and paste them onto here...
