Screenshots are downloaded as .png files. I am constantly using Paint to convert them to a .jpg file so they can be attached/uploaded where .png files are not accepted. How can I change settings in Firefox so Screenshots are downloaded as a .jpeg file?? Is it possible to have screenshots download as a .pdf file also??

Since Firefox 96 it is no longer possible to save the screenshot as JPG as previously the format would switch from non-lossy PNG to lossy JPG after exceeding a specific threshold (pngToJpegCutoff = 2500000; removed in 96+). If you would edit a lossy JPG file then you get a lot of artifacts.

You can search the Add-ons website for an extension that allows to save the screenshot as JPG.
