Version support for non-smartphone android devices
What is the highest version that may be installed like this?- I did not have a browser on my android TV so I downloaded android apk from https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android and installed it on my android TV. It was version 68 and did not work for meet.google.com and some other sites. I tried to install the apk of Firefox version 92 but on the screen it simply displayed "app not installed". What is the highest version that may be installed like this?

Hi
There is currently no Firefox 92 and we do not make available Firefox for Android TV.
If you have an Amazon Fire TV device, you will be able to use Firefox for Amazon Fire TV.
Sorry, It was 82, but I had installed version 68 through apk from https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android and it works even now. I have even signed in on it from my firefox account.

As I have explained, we do not design or test Firefox for Android to make it available for Android TV.
I am asking, why is there one thing that you can do with version 68 that you can not do with version 82. You improve Firefox in updates or not?
We have completely rebuilt Firefox for Android to make it faster and more private and to help us to add the features that people want in future updates.
