how to avoid sw updates until add ons are ready
I need to disable your sw version updates, it is no good that you update and set the addons on disable until they are updated. The addons are much more important than FireFox, they are the real solution solver to use your app FireFox. The functionality should be the other way around, no updates until the addons get updated.
Your recent update has disable one of my prefer addons which is toolbar buttons as you lack many butons that I need to add to the toolbars so your app can be more user friendly. Do you have an equivalent or when it is plan to be updated?

Read the About this Add-on:
After over 10 years and 2 rewrites to keep up with changes, this extension is going to be discontinued (as a Firefox extension) as it is not longer possible to continue this as a WebExtension (needed for Firefox 57+). Instead I will be splitting it into smaller extensions which I will upload. I am keeping a list of which ones are WebExtension enabled here. > https://codefisher.org/toolbar_button/webextensions/
This was so annoying. Thank god I could solved it with the proposed link which allows to individually install some of the buttons.
Note : Firefox 56.0.2 is current release https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ Full Version Installer Note : Firefox 57 Quantum release date Nov 14th https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/quantum/ Note : Legacy Extensions will be disabled and or removed.

Have you considered switching to the Extended Support Release of Firefox 52? It will receive security updates through next Spring. Originally designed for companies, it is used by many individuals who prefer a more backwards-compatible experience.
