My tope bar is gone where the http//www.yohoo.com, the backspace and forward botton and the search engine for google space is gone. How do I get them back?

New Firefox version was installed and now my top bar is gone where http//www.yahoo.com used to be and the search engine spot on the right for google etc. Also the forward back buttton is gone. How do I get them back?

You mean that the navigation toolbar is gone? Are you in full screen mode? If so, hold down Command+Shift and press F. If not, pull down the View menu, choose Toolbars, and click on Navigation Toolbar to check it. If that does not make the navigation toolbar appear, it may be that localstore.rdf in the profile has gotten damaged. The easy way to find the profile is to pull down the Help menu and choose Troubleshooting Information, then click the Profile Directory - Show in Finder button. Shut down Firefox, move the localstore.rdf file onto the desktop and restart Firefox. If that restores the navigation toolbar, you will have to redo customizations made to toolbars and resize windows back to preferred sizes. If not, you can put the localstore file back into the profile.
