Missing mail from Gmail profile
Hi all! I have Mozilla version 68.12.1 (32bit) and Gmail account set up via POP3. To my horror, almost all emails with folders in Mozilla have disappeared. But in the "DISK SPACE" GMAIL account settings section, the DO NOT DELETE MESSAGES (even old ones) flag is set. Why did Mozilla download all the letters and they disappeared from the Google mail?? All I see now is one INbox folder (there are about 100 letters) and a MAPS TIME LINE folder (created earlier in the mail client, and it is not in GMAIL). However, the Index in the ..AppData \ Roaming \ Thunderbird \ Profiles \ q4zs41nm.default-release \ Mail \ pop.gmail.com \ folder is over 1GB (it looks like all my emails are inside it). I tried rebuilding the index, but it didn't help. Please, give some work advice to save my correspondence (for many years).

In short, I solved my problem. To do this, I was forced to buy a program for 30 bucks to convert mbox to pst. It would be nice to compensate me for these expenses) I know for sure that this was the first and last time using this mailer.

UPD: I looked in the knowledge base, and found information that it is still necessary to change the mail settings in Gmail settings relate to POP3 (eh, if I knew earlier about it...).
I'll clarify the problem. Now the problem is not that they disappeared from the Gmail, but that they are not in the Inbox Thunderbird.
I opened this large file (named Inbox without extension) with a text editor. Yes, and I can see the email headers! So all these letters are exactly inside this file!
However, the question remains: Since Thunderbird's inbox file is more than 1 GB (and have my lost emails), how it's possible to recover emails from db file?
