When I open firefox it is starting to consume my all internet data & speed and I am unable to open any page at time. In Download manager nothing is there. It is consuming all my Internet data. And does not allow me to work on firefox. I have uninstalled and reinstalled many time firefox. Also I have refreshed it many time. I have also tried to use Firefox in safe mode but the problem is still continued.

Let's try this; Close Firefox. Now shut down the modem, WiFi . . . . . .

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Now cancel the download. BTW what is it? Download Manager <Control> J

Thanks for your help. There is nothing in download manager to stop. Also in safe mode, It is still consuming all internet data without showing what is being downloaded or surfed?
