7/1/13 Microsoft Update KB6270838 causes Firefox to crash. Only works in safe mode. Fix inside.

How to fix:

Uninstall Microsoft Update KB6270838 by going to Control Panel Click Windows Update Click View Update History Click Installed Updates Navigate to the area called Microsoft Windows and find the update KB6270838 Doubleclick and select Uninstall.

restart and everything will work again.
