If I do a search on an engine like Google or Ask.com, once I select the topic, I get redirected to some other advertising website. What can I do to repair this?
I think I have some kind of advertising malware. When I try to do a search on a particular topic on Google or Ask.com, I can select a certain website link, only to be directed to a totally different website.

Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs.
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.
