I moved my website http://wallpapersinsta.com from old host to new host. updated the dns at Godaddy.com On my android phone with firefox, I can see the new site, after I dropped wifi and went to data. On my desktop, and on my husbands two computers, we can only see the old site, even after clearing cache. How do I make Firefox display the new site?

What should the current site look like and what do you see instead? I just see the Under Construction image (uc.jpg).

This sounds like your local network (WLAN+LAN) has or goes through nodes that haven't reacted to the DNS change yet. Check your proxy settings for starters, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/advanced-panel-settings-in-firefox#w_connection. The default might be "auto detect" or "system", I recommend using Direct Connection unless you absolutely must use a proxy. If a direct connection doesn't help, then this may be an issue with Firefox's DNS cache.

According to http://www.kahunaburger.com/2009/03/18/clear-dns-cache-in-firefox/, you can clear it like so:

  1. type about:config in Firefox’s address bar
  2. acknowledge the warning that appears next
  3. find an entry called network.dnsCacheExpiration and set it’s value to 0
  4. if there’s no such entry, create a new integer item with the name above and a value of 0
  5. now go back and change the value to 3600
