The client area of FF 10 only shrinks down to the minimum width of the navigation bar.
Hello - While testing a web page to determine how it looks when the browser is very narrow (around 340px wide), I noticed that when I shrink the width of FF, there comes a point where my content stops reformatting, like I have encountered a minimum width setting. After some trial and error, I discovered that the width of the client area will only reduce to the minimum horizontal space required by the navigation bar. When I turn off the navigation bar, the browse will allow me to further reduce the width.

Try posting at the Web Development / Standards Evangelism forum at MozillaZine. The helpers over there are more knowledgeable about web page development issues with Firefox.

You'll need to register and login to be able to post in that forum.
Provide a link to test case web page which displays that issue, and maybe explain the need for testing at 340px width, as that is more in the mobile browser arena than something needed in a PC browser.
I'm not seeing that issue with the Navigation Toolbar visible.
Do you have extensions that place buttons or other elements on the Bookmarks Toolbar?
You may either need to rearrange or remove items on the Navigation Toolbar to see which is causing it or hide the Navigation Toolbar.
I can get it down to ~100px.
I can get it down to 1px on Linux according to the DOM Inspector: box width: 1px (id=main-window)
