A site I need to us (azva.com) only accepts version 3. I tried to get it, but v 5 was automatic. I didn't see an option to download v3.

Install Firefox Portable 3.6.19 to use at that web site. It won't affect your current version of Firefox at all. Check and tell if its working.
That Portable Firefox will not work as margoannie111 is using Max OSX 10.6.8 and not Windows.
