When in desktop mode, Firefox for Android scales the text up too much.
When viewing a website, when selecting the request desktop site option, the browser scales up the text and images too much, and the text, images, and buttons take up too much space on the screen. How can I reduce the scaling of the broswer while using the request desktop site function? I tried to turn on the system scaling option, that did not help, and I cannot "zoom out" farther than what the image shows.

Hi
To be honest, the desktop view is to help when a site is not fully mobile compatible. Many and most websites appears perfectly in a mobile view and this is the best way to view them.
Hi again,
The reason I wanted to use the desktop mode is because I have an Android tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab S4), and want to use it like a laptop when working. Laptops always display the desktop versions of sites, and I expected the desktop site to be properly displayed on the tablet when using the request desktop site function. Often the desktop versions of most sites (particularly Google sites), are more fully featured when in desktop mode, for example, Gmail, Google Maps, and Google Drive. If I want to use Google Docs or other Gsuite products, I must use the request desktop site function to edit a document. However, this results in the toolbars being scaled up, and thus creates less room for the page and the text on it. Is there really no way to decrease the scaling? Also is there a way to always force the desktop site?
