Is there an APK android app downloader for Firefox? Need to download via PC then copy to a non-internet connected tablet for installation
I have two Android tablets that are not connected to the internet (long story). I'd like to download Android Apps via my PC and copy them to my Android tablets. I do not want to use the Chrome APK extension for a variety of reasons. The apps I need are free, but without an internet connection, I can't obtain them. They are not available for direct download from the developer sites.

Find the Extensions for Android version here {web link}
Read the question again FredMcD, he was asking for ways to download .apk files on computer to then install them on Android tablets.
James,
Right.
To restate: I need to do a Windows PC Firefox download of *.apk file, then copy the *.apk to a tablet (via USB, etc.) for installation.
Chrome has an extension that allows this, but it has issues and I don't like Chrome anyway.
Perhaps I'm missing something obvious? There must be other FF users who have this same situation.
Thanks!
wtm2014:
You can download the APK file of Firefox 30 from the below link but you will have to manually update Firefox since you didn't download it from the Play Store
More info:
Note that the latest version is 31, but the FTP server hasn't been updated yet since 31 was just released today and it'll be available in the next day or so. Might want to bookmark that link! :)
P.S. Make sure you've allowed Android to install unknown sources.

Moses,
I have Firefox for Android. That is not what I am looking for. Please re-read my issue. It is with downloading APK files using Firefox on a Windows PC to then be copied and installed on non-internet connected tablets. I am looking for a FF extension or add-on that will permit this. As James above put it, I am "asking for ways to download .apk files on computer to then install them on Android tablets."
Thanks.
Ah, I see. I misunderstood! I could've sworn I read that you couldn't download Firefox on your Android.
There's a ton of different websites out there but I couldn't find any add-ons that Firefox will use to do this.
