Icons on all pages are missing and replaced with letters and numbers on firefox on laptop.

As title says, icons on all pages are missing. For example, if you look at the following page (http://8tracks.com/nikaachiss/mystical-melodic) where it says home/feed/explore at the top right that should have little icons beside them, mine don't. Instead there is just a little box next to each one that says E100/E500/E588. Already tried disabling all my addons/ad-blockers/virus programs with no luck. Icons work on IE. Thanks

Those missing icons are actually supplied by a font that is downloaded from the server (@font-face) as you can see by the little boxes that show the hex code of the characters.

You can check the gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled pref on the about:config page and make sure that it is set to true (if necessary double-click the line to toggle its value).

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
