I am using Firefox 13 for Mac. I can not bring down my list of most visited sites (the little arrow that is pointing down), and I can no longer bookmark a page.
When I click the down arrow for the list of most visited sites, it turns blue but nothing happens. I can right click to bookmark a page, but when I select "bookmark page" nothing happens and the page is not bookmarked. This problem has transferred from version 12 to 13.

Are you sure you do not set firefox to clear my history automatically ?
see in About:config if the Browser.urlbar.maxRichResults changed to 0 or -1 for some reason, and this is the cause you can not see nothing in dropdown in location bar(Default is 12).

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
