What type of file is that? Firefox can display plain text and HTML.

That sounds like a file in the cache used by MS browsers (Edge, IE).

You need to create a desktop shortcut in Firefox.

-- how are you loading that file into Firefox, or how are you initiating the process that ends up loading that file into Firefox?
