Manually Sort Folders quit working and new install doesn't fix
Until today, the Manually Sort Folders function has been working on my version of Thunderbird. Today I renamed one folder and wanted to sort it into proper position. The Manually Sort Folders function came up *without* a primary folder named and it wouldn't allow me to name one to get down to the area where my renamed folder belonged. Deleted the old version of "Manually Sort Folders" and installed the new one. Still doesn't work. HELP!!!

Okle dokle, realized that I had my Tbird set to "automatically update add-ons" which brought in v1.1.1 of Manually Sort Folders without me knowing it had been modified. According to the author's web site, v1.1.1 does NOT WORK on my v31.6.0 of Thunderbird and I don't understand how to "upgrade" to the versions of Thunderbird for which the author's v1.1.1 DOES WORK, even if I wanted to. But the author did allow, on his xulforum.org web site, the opportunity to download the earlier v1.1. So I downloaded that and replaced v1.1.1 with v1.1 and BINGO! I got my Manually Sort Folders back in operation. Also reset my specifications for Add-Ons so that they shall NEVER AGAIN be automatically updated to versions that won't work with my version of Thunderbird. Hope this explanation might be helpful to anyone experiencing a similar problem with the important use function Manually Sort Folders (for which I long since sent a donation to the author).
