Digital photos often are difficult to read. Could you try it this way:

(1) Open a new document in the Windows paint program by typing or pasting this in the start menu search box and pressing enter:

mspaint.exe

Leave that window open, and switch over to Thunderbird using the Windows Taskbar.

(2) With your Thunderbird window active and showing the problem, press the Print Screen key on your keyboard (may be abbreviated to PrtSc or other similar text)

(3) Switch back to Windows Paint using the Windows Taskbar, and Paste (you can either use the toolbar button or Ctrl+v). The screenshot from Thunderbird should appear. Then press the Esc key to lock the position of the pasted image. You might want to maximize the window so you can see as much of the image as possible.

(4) There probably is sensitive information in the image. On the Paint toolbar you'll see a Select button, and this may already be highlighted. Use the mouse to delete sensitive information by drawing a rectangle. Click and hold at the upper left of the rectangle, then move the mouse to the lower right and release. The dotted selection outline shows what will be removed when you press the Delete key on the keyboard.

(5) Once the image is done, use the Save feature (from the menu or using Ctrl+s) and select the PNG format since that is the preferred format on this site. Then you can close Paint.

(6) Return to your thread and use the Browse button to attach your image to the discussion. https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1119652#question-reply
