I am running firefox 17.0. The lightbeam app page says it's not available for firefox 17.0. Or for firefox 7, which I'm running on another computer. I can't find anything that says what systems/software it does work with.

Chosen solution

The latest version of Firefox is 28.0 - not 17.0.

Lightbeam 1.0.8 is compatible with Firefox 25 and higher.

hello, lightbeam will work with the latest version of firefox (also for security reasons you should always stay up-to-date, since old versions are vulnerable): Update Firefox to the latest release

I tried downloading/installing the app on 17.0. It didn't work.

thank you. I wonder why this information isn't readily visible on the app page, or nearbye...? However, when I went to upgrade to the latest version, I was greeted with the message, "Congrats! You're using the latest version of Firefox!" (I'm on a MacBook Pro running OS 10.9.2) I have tried resetting my useragent w/out success. Either the particular lines indicated in the instructions aren't there, or the option to "reset" isn't available.
