Firefox has just updated itself to 22.0 and now I can't connect to any webpages. I've gone through all the suggestions on the help page and none of them work. Internet Explorer has not been working for several months and other programs, such as Windows Media Player, have not been able to connect to the Internet either but Firefox has been working until it updated today. I've checked my internet connection and am now using another computer on the same network.

I had this problem several months ago after Firefox updated itself and eventually tried restarting my computer but it failed to restart and I had to send it off to be repaired.

hello, normally such issues are caused by a firewall/security software which doesn't recognize & therefore blocks new firefox versions: Fix problems connecting to websites after updating Firefox

Hi, I've tried checking my firewall settings and Firefox is not blocked. I've also tried looking at Norton360 but it is unable to open without me restarting my computer which I don't want to do unless absolutely necessary.
