Duplicate Email Addresses in To, CC, BCC field

It would be great if when Thunderbird finds duplicate addresses in the to, cc or bcc field that it just use one and move on vs stop, tell me and make me correct it. Outlook does this.

perhaps file an enhancement request., https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/home Product is obviously Thunderbird.
