Crash bc I am unable to remove synched history from app
Android App was freezing and crashing on Home Depot page.
I disconnected the synched phone, cleared storage and cache, and uninstalled the app.
I then reinstalled the app, and reconnected to my account. Synch was successful.
HOWEVER, while the old synched device does not show in the device list and the new one does, the old device's History still shows in the History tab, including the aforementioned, evil Home Depot page that froze FF.
When I access the Home Depot page, the app still freezes.
On my desktop, the old device and its history do not show, and the Home Depot page does not freeze or crash FF.

Hi thlew, you can remove a history item on Firefox for Android using the long press menu:
- tap the address bar to show the sliding panels
- switch to the History panel
- long press the item you want to remove until a menu appears
- tap Remove
As for why the page freezes, I do not know. Based on your report, I'm not inclined to visit!
Oddly, the Remove option does not appear for the two history items under that device. All of the other options display.
Remove does appear for every history item under the other two devices.
I just realized I don't have multiple devices sync'ing history, so I am not familiar with any quirks involved there.
It seems that history of disconnected devices should disappear at some point, but I don't know how to trigger that.
I have no experience with Mobile Firefox (for smartphones) and Sync, but my understanding of Sync is that changing the Password for a Firefox Account will clear all user data from the Sync server.
Then as each device is connected back to Sync with the new Password data will be sent to the Sync server afresh. A Password change is not supposed to affect data on a particular device; either Mobile or Desktop / Laptop.
It worked, thank you!
It took about five tries. Cleared history, cache etc. from my desktop, did same on phone, and disconnected both. Reconnected.
Lather, rinse, repeated five times, and it finally worked.
Singled phone is synched.. .but it doesn't show in my synched devices, but what the heck, it works!
