Firefox is too slow. Have to say goodbye.

I have used FF exclusively for many years but it is time to say goodbye, for good.

Every page I try to load is so slow in loading that I am reminded of 1995 load times. This is just unacceptable. And I am not interested in turning on FF in safe mode because, like others, I want my browser to work with all of the bells and whistles installed. I am NOT interested in doing beta testing for you to see which add ons MIGHT be slowing down your browser.

So, it's good bye to FF from one of your most staunch defenders. I'm sad to see you go because I loved your devotion to privacy. However, since other browsers can now offer the same security and privacy, it is no longer worth the trade off to get that at the cost of load times.

Bye.

Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes). If the problem goes away, that tells us one thing. If it does not, that tells us something else.

Please try safe mode. Is the problem still there?
