Secure Connection failed, I tried all the solutions to fix this problem, however, other browsers can open sites so easily..what could be the problem ?

I first thought its because of the MacAfee Antivirus but after uninstalling it, Firefox still didn't work. I also tried the instructions here....

Some problems occur when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;

  • Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
  • Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see

If you are in Egypt: three other users have reported intermittent problems with some Google domains on two ISPs. https://google.com/ and https://mail.google.com/ are reported to work, but https://www.google.com/ is reported to mostly fail. Only in Firefox. No one has been able to explain this yet. Please check out these threads to see what has been tried so far:
