How do I get Thunderbird auto complete to work on new computer?
Installed Thunderbird on new computer. Local folders successfully migrated, but auto-complete not remembering email addresses. The formhistory.sqlite is 192KB, so assume the info is there. What should I do? Thanks

In your position, I'd have moved the entire profile.

As things stand, you could copy abook.mab and history.mab from the old computer to the same location in the new.
Any other *.mab files. representing user-created address books, will most likely need to be imported using https://nic-nac-project.org/~kaosmos/morecols-en.html

All suggestions come from your address books. Do you have Autocomplete setup to use your address books?
From the Menu Bar select Tools-Options-Composition-Addressing
If your menu bar is not showing, press the alt key.
Ah, okay, there's the trouble. Autocomplete is set up to use the address book, but the book is only populated with addresses used on the new computer. The old one must be in local folders somewhere - how should I migrate them?

Excellent, thanks Zenos - wasn't sure which files to move, but all sorted now.
