While signing off of hotmail, other browsers use to redirect me to MSN.com page. Firefox, thankfully did not! However, since I upgraded to the new version, it allows the redirect as other browsers do. Additionally, when a page tries to redirect the warning "Allow" displays but, the page loads regardless if it is selected or not and this happens to all websites.

Check the setting in Preferences > Advanced > General > "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page". It should be checked. If it is not, check it.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I should have elaborated on my preliminary steps one of which was what you suggested. Firefox does alert me to a redirect and does ask me to allow the redirect but, all I have to do is sit there and do nothing and it will redirect/refresh itself even though I didn't depress "allow" it too.
