I had an automatic update a couple of days ago from Adobe Flash to version 11. Since then videos do not play, it is a white screen with nothing on it where the video is suppose to play in the browser. Is anyone else having this problem? How do I correct it?

Hi dewayne24,

We are aware of the issue and working with Adobe to find a fix. Here are a few workarounds you might want to try:

  • Disable realplayer or any other record type addon/including extensions plugins
  • Then try disabling protected mode if that doesn't work: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1018071?tstart=0
  • If it's still really crashy, make sure IPC is on by going to about:config and looking for dom.ipc.plugins.enabled. It should be set to true for your system architecture.

when you say disable realplayer, are you referring in the browser?
