When I try to download Firefox the following happens: 1. The pop-up screen asks if I would like to run or save. As instructed, I click run. 2 A "verifying" pop-up labeled Internet Explorer- Security Warning comes up and asks me if I would like to run or don't run. I click run. 3. Another screen pops up and is labeled Open With, and asks me to choose which program I want to use to open the following file: "Firefox%20Setup%204.0.1[1].exe". As recommended I choose Internet Exlporer. Then I click run again on another pop up. And then the very first pop-up shows up again. Then #1 occurs and so on, then repeat.

The best method to install Firefox,

  1. right-click the download button and, in IE, choose "Save Target As", and SAVE the download to your hard drive (save to the Desktop so that you can find it),
  2. do not click the "Run" button as shown in the link below,
  3. then exit the browser that you are using,
  4. double-click the installer that you just downloaded and run the installation.
