I want to be able to have a page, such as my email account, automatically update. However it appears that I can't do that without letting pages redirect me wherever they want. Similarly, there is no option to "opt in" to automatic updating for specific pages, like you can allow specific pages to do other things . . . .

The first one, I found. It allows you to stop the page from autorefreshing and redirecting. But NOT one or the other.

The second link seems to only tell a user how to set the page to do what I don't want.
