Cannot see any options in "General" tab for Options

For some reason whenever i click on Tools>> Options : the general tab is there but i just can't view any of the options that used to be there. It looks blank but i remember from using the options menu before many times that there were given options for the General tab.

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."
