i would not risk installing ad-blockers especially on the mac's. There is something odd that occurs with FF on the Macs. So if you firefox "isnt broken", then i suggest to "dont fix it"

besides the benefit gained with FireFox, is that websites should be unable to know your interests and browsing habits. As such, their pesky ads dedicated to your perceived interests should not be occurring.
